This Friday
will bring our 3rd year of kid’s fly fishing camps to a close until
next summer. Rachel and I have had a blast teaching two great groups of
10-15 year olds and watching them become knowledgeable and enthusiastic
fly fishers. As always, we will conclude the week with a Rogue River
float and these kids are ready to stick some fish!
Since
moving to the Rogue Valley 11 years ago, July has become the month that
shifts my focus back to chasing steelhead. This past weekend I floated
the river with my parents and we kick started that program. It’s
time.
