Jim Andras reports on 1.28.2016:
The winter of 2016 continues to bring rain to the Rogue Valley creating limited opportunity to fish the Rogue River. Flows spiked above 4000 this week upstream of Shady Cove and, though fishable, it’s not ideal. The weather did dry out for a bit this week however, starting today Jackson County is under a flood watch through Friday night. The flows on the Rogue started climbing slowly this morning and continue to bump up. Despite the blue sky currently out my window, the local meteorologists agree that this storm will deliver another big punch over the next 48 hours with snow levels dropping Sunday to 2500 feet. Stay tuned.

Jon NG poked a nice steelie on the American River near sunrise. Look for the overcast days to turn fishing on.
