We have been hearing some descent fishing reports from the Lower Yuba. Our buddy Tony Bellaver was up there the other day to test out his new quad spey rod he is working on and landed this fish:

This guy ate a classic swing fly, but we have been hearing fish have been eating PMD’s, BWO, and Caddis and the occasional hopper.
Stay until dark if you can as this time of year the morning and late evenings tend to be the most productive.
Below the damn striper fishing remains good.
