Despite the hot weather, the trout fishing up north remains good and at times some would say very good. The Lower Sac
continues to fish well in the early morning hours and in the evenings.
Plenty of fish can be hooked midday too, it’s just a bit more
comfortable out early and late. The freestone streams are fishing well
early in the day as well. The Upper Sac and Pit
have given us some good morning sessions recently. You don’t have to
wait until fall to get in on some great trout fishing up here.
** I STILL HAVE THIS COMING SUNDAY AND THURSDAY OPEN. THE UPPER PORTION OF THE LOWER SAC REOPENS TO FISHING THIS WEEKEND. It should be pretty darn good..
