Lower Sacramento Fly Fishing Report

Stallar fishing continues on the Lower Sac. Morning sessions have been borderline insane. Not many boats out fishing at all, especially during the week. Hydropsyche hatches have been coming off late morning and driving the fishing. A lot of large fish are eating. Putting the right bug in the right spot matters. As soon as you get that down you’ll have a hell of a time out there. I’ll enjoy the next couple weeks of quiet out there. The Kings are going to start showing up in town any day now. The plethora of outta town drift boats will be right behind them. Get ready for bumper boat season on the Sac..
