Lower Sacramento River
Trout fishing is very productive on the Lower Sacramento River. The salmon have shown up in the best numbers we have seen in several years which makes the egg bite good and consistent.

The target locations right now are from Keswick down to Anderson. Below Anderson, the egg bite has been sporadic but in addition, there has been some good dry dropper fishing as well as nymph fishing. A fun twist to the Sacramento River this time of year is that the steelhead have shown up and you have the opportunity of hooking into a few of them. This river cannot be beaten for your next destination trout fishing trip
