AC Fly Fishing Reports on 12.14.2017

Flows on the Sac are still down at 5K cubes.. This should be the norm for a while until we get a little precipitation. Speaking of which, there is virtually zero of that in the extended forecast. We’ve been enjoying the clear 65 degree days but it’s time for the high pressure on the coast to move and let some weather in. The fishing remains good but the windows have narrowed a bit. The baetis hatches are waning but still sparking the bite in the middle of the day. Don’t expect any crazy fishing in the morning right now. We’ve seen some real quality fish on the Sac recently. Winter Steelhead will be showing up soon on some of the other venues..
