The fishing on the Sac remains good to really good most days. The Baetis hatches have been coming off like clockwork and can convince the bigger fish in the river to come out from hiding. We’ve had some stellar days over the past few weeks and expect this trend to continue. Flows are down to 5k which opens up even more opportunities to get out of the boat and wade fish. If the stars align, Dry fly fishing can happen this time of year too. The Trinity River was good to us all last week too. Small pulses of color and flow from the tribs gets the fish moving and can make for some damn good windows.
