Eastern Sierra Not Report

Apr 21, 20161 min read

Jim Stimson reports on 4.20.2016

I am out of the office this week vacationing with my wife in the State of Jefferson. We hit the Lower Sac with Kris Kennedy, a transplant from the Eastern Sierra who now guides for the Fly Shop and does trips globally. The Lower Sac is fishing very well.

We pulled anchor and moved up into the Upper Sac. The river level is high and caution must be exercised when wading. Fishing was tough, with white-water drifts thru the cascades. I managed three grabs and landed one. I wish I had some salmon fly imitations. See you next week!
