Delta Fly Fishing Report

DeltaAug 25, 20161 min read

Steve Santucci Reports on 8.25.2016

Stripers are starting  to show and spread from San Francisco Bay to the California Delta.  Good numbers of schoolie Stripers are available to the shallow
water fly fisherman.  Clouser minnows are working in all the popular colors.  Fish can be taken on floating ,intermediate and fast sinking lines.  Fished the Napa River this  week and had a decent day working shallow water flats.  Water temps vary from 66 to 78 degrees depending on the area that you might fish.
