Delta Striper fishing is rated good for fly fishing. This week I spent two days on the Delta and thought the fishing was pretty good for numbers as well as quality. The water temperature is rising as we have had unseasonably warmer temperrature as well as warm rains. The water temps are hovering from 50 to 53 degrees. I have been using large flies and the fish are liking them. The fishing is pretty exciting as we have been having days that are overcast and low light. Now is the time to start fishing the Delta if you want to catch the late winter and spring run
