Central Valley Striper Fly Fishing

Feather RiverAug 27, 20181 min read

Capt. Chuck Ragan reports on 8.27.18

Striper on the fly in our Central Valley Rivers has been pretty rewarding.  We’re seeing great temps and active groups of fish on the Feather, Sacramento, Yuba and American Rivers.  Weather has been pleasant, clarity has been good, numbers have been good to great and much of the smoke if not all has cleared.

If you’re on the books, we’ll look forward to seeing you on the water.  If you’d like to make it out this fall, don’t hesitate to book a trip before the calendars fill during this prime time to chase striped bass.  Stay focused, fish hard and get home safe!
