California Delta Fly Fishing Report

Bryce Tedford reports on 5.10.18

Delta

The warm weather has brought a fair amount of windy days & the challenge is to find areas out of the wind with feeding fish. Some days have fished pretty well but others we are working very hard for the fish’s we are finding.

With water temperatures approaching 70 degrees in certain areas the Largemouth are getting aggressive & are a fun surprise to offset Stripers. I have been using a mix of both rattle Clouser Minnows & traditional Clouser Minnows 4-6” in length. Various colors have been effective but Chartreuse/white is tough to beat!
