Wind, wind, wind! Warmer weather & Springtime has brought windy days, the challenge is to find areas out of the direct wind with feeding fish. With the windy days, I have been focusing on fishing the mornings before the wind gets unmanageable.

Still catching some decent Stripers but Spring Striper season is winding down. With water temperatures approaching 70 degrees in certain areas the Largemouth are getting aggressive & are a fun surprise to offset Stripers. I have been using a mix of both rattle Clouser Minnows & traditional Clouser Minnows 4-6” in length. Various colors have been effective but a variation in Chartreuse/white is tough to beat!
