California Delta Fly Fishing Report

DeltaMay 24, 20181 min read

Capt. Bryce Tedford reports on 5.24.18

Delta

Spring Striper fishing is winding down but we’re still catching a decent # of fish. Generally we are catching 10-15 Stripers a day with a few quality fish mixed in but some days have been tough. As water temperatures approach 70 degrees the Largemouth are getting aggressive & are a fun surprise to offset Stripers. Soon I will turn my focus to Smallmouth & Largemouth for the summer, returning to Stripers come fall. If you are interested in these unique ½ day Topwater trips for Smallmouth/Largemouth I will be focusing on them June-September.
