Butte Creek got up to about 5000cfs and dropped fast down to about 400cfs. This big rain and push of water is exactly what the creek needed to clear out the channel and move some fish up the river. As of right now (tuesday) the creek came up to 744 and may still rise a bit throughout the day as mondays rain filters down. The creek is fishable up to 800cfs and ounce it starts to drop it will drop fast and you want to be there. Nymphing and swinging flies will be a great option.
