For the last week and a half I’ve been in Wyoming enjoying the hopper action throwing every hopper pattern I can get my hands on. Fortunately or unfortunately for me I have had to come this far but its been well worth it for me and my buds, Fred “The Fish” Gordon and Buster.

Straight up hopper, hopper dropper and hopper dropper dropper has been the game.

We have been on the Wind River and Big Horn in WY and Teton River and South Fork of the Snake in ID. To round out the week we will be back in WY on the Salt and Snake Rivers.

The hoppers have been thick and the fish grabby. Look for Wild Waters Fly Fishing to be hosting some trips back here for this phenomenal time of the year.
