Flows have dropped back down to just over 6k making access much easier Shad are being caught all day with the evening being the highest success rate. Pinies and other shad darts on a type 3 or 6 shooting head will do the trick.That is if you are not chasing stripers around.

Yuba River 6/16/2017
Nice to see the yuba flow down 3k. Shad and rainbows are being caught on the Lower Yuba right now. So great to have this fishery back in action!

The Pit 3 flows have dropped below 350. perfect time to get out there. I will be out on the pit for the first time this year next week. I am really looking forward to it.
6.16.2017Fishing is transitioning from the bay to the surf. This fish came this week on a low tide morning. Chartreuse and white is still the top producer.
