Yuba River Fly Fishing Report

The last few weeks have been pretty awesome on the Yuba. Pretty consistent skwala action with a few steelhead thrown into the mix have made for fun days.
That being said, we are supposed to have almost 3 inches of rain Sunday and Monday, and I am hearing that there is a massive pipe that has burst upriver earlier today that is likely going to cause a significant decrease in visibility and possibly affect flows.
I was out there today and it fished pretty well, but with the rain coming it will probably be torched for a week or two, so look to the end of the month and early March for the last chance at skwalas likely.
Heading into March, we will hopefully have good March brown and PMD action, as well with maybe some caddis & BWO's thrown in there. I have availability at the end of the month and in March for anyone looking for a float trip.
