Trinity River Report

Dec 17, 20151 min read

Brian Clemens Reports on 12/16/2015

Well the fishing on the Trinity couldn’t be better. We are seeing double digit days pretty consistently, but as most know winter steelhead fishing can be tough and most days hooking only a handful.

But with that said, today’s guide trip was a great day, hooking many fishing in the 24-28" range, and even a few in the very high 20’s and low 30" range. By the way, only one angler on the boat today.

I personally floated a short stretch on Monday from 9am to 3pm, didnt fish super hard, only hitting the main holes, and stuck 12 landing 4. Most fish were 24-28". Then walk and waded Tuesday, and hooked a bit more than a handful of fish. So as you can see its pretty good up here right now. Time to get up here ASAP!

With that said, I have a few days that just became available between now and the end of the month. This is first come first serve basis. These dates will fill up quick. The fishing is really good, so book um now before they are gone. Here they are:December 21 half day only(noon to dark float),22,23,29,30 Price for the full day trips are $375, half day $325

I also still have a few days available in January as well. They are:January 12,13,14,15,16,17
