The Lower Sac Fishing Report

Some great news to report on the Lower Sac. Water conditions are on the mend and the river is fishing very well.. The river is flowing green (NO LONGER BROWN) and the fish are eager to eat. These fish haven’t been pressured or fished to much at all in the past few months and that certainly showed today. We saw a good number of Spring Caddis already popping off. With this warm weather trend, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the bulk of the hatch happen in the next week or two. Stoked to be back on the home river.. expecting some bomber fishing, now through the Spring. Dry fly fishing, double hookups and trophy trout all happen in the Spring on the Sac. I’ve still got days open for March, jump on it if you want to experience some stellar spring fishing on this powerhouse trout factory.
