Evan Praskin Reports on 12.22.2017

The surf was pumping over the weekend with a steep NW swell filling in paired with a steady breeze making fishing a very tough. We had a high tide of 5.7ft@8AM and quite the outgoing bottoming out at -.25@4pm, this pulled most the fish out of our reach and we called it early. Those who waited it out and hit the surf during the week day had a much better shot at fishable water. The evening bite has been great with a few nice fish showing up in the mix. Stick to those sand crab/crustacean patterns and watch those rogue waves that can get you by surprise! Wishing you all happy holidays and we’ll see you on the beach!
