High pressure this last week so we had some balmy, beautiful days. We saw some great fishing on the Rogue as a result. Some real tanks hooked too. But the real story is that we finally found fish on the Klamath! After a few sparse weeks, I hope this is the start of the real season. Generally, the Klamath is my best November and December venue before chasing larger winter chromers. Let’s hope this is just the beginning! But while I am on the topic of beginnings, I should add my first coastal scouting trip turned out my first winter steelhead. These fish begins nosing in this month and it’s usually full on after thanksgiving. Get ready!
