PUTAH CREEK UPDATE 2/27
Putah is dangerously high and blown out! The torrential rain over the last 48 hours has caused Lake Berryessa to spill. The creek is dangerous at these flows and should not be approached. It is difficult to predict when Putah Creek will be fishable again. With very similar conditions in March 2017, the creek remained unfishable for most of March.

A silver lining exists in the form of spectacular fishing once the flood subsides! Those tired trout will be hungry! Although the season has been shortened by the extreme rainfall this week, I am expecting an amazing Spring at Putah Creek! Thanks, -Rob Russell

After resting the Creek and its inhabitants for the winter spawn, fishing will resume in earnest this Friday. Fishing has been tremendous the last few seasons at Putah. Very excited to see what’s in store for 2019. I am expecting a great opener at Putah Creek! Dates available in March. Call or email for info and availability. 707-888-2571.
