Lower Sac - Good, great, grand, wonderful. Broken Record.. It’s always good. Best window had been late mornings and afternoons. A lot of different flies are catching fish right now. It’s more a matter of putting your bugs in the exact right spot.. during the right time of the day. Egg drop coming soon. Get ready for the circus to show up.
McCloud - We’ve had some really fun days over there recently hunting down the migratory Brown Trout. You might not catch the quantity of smaller fish right now but you will probably have the shot at a jumbo brown or two.
Trinity/Klamath - There are a few fish throughout the system right now. We recently had a good day over on the Trinity - finding a few new Steelhead. Not many folks out yet - certainly my favorite time of the year before the crowds show up. You might not find as many right now but you can bet they’ll be pretty damn hot.
I just had a few days cancel recently. I currently have September 19, 26-27 open. Get in on some of the goods before the crowds show up.
