Capt. Hogan Brown reports on 7.6.18
Lower Sacramento River Striper Fishing - Fishing has been fair to good depending on the day. Lots of smaller and keeper size fish around but the big boys and girls are still a bit sluggish moving onto the edges to feed. Had shots but it has been a bit slow to start. Water temps are cooler then usual and my gut says that the big fish are still feeding on or atleast full from or focusing on shad, not moving into the shallows to look for pike minnows and other bait fish. July-November tends to be the prime time so it should really get going with the heat next week and the start of July.
