Lower Sacramento River Fly Fishing Report

Lower Sacramento RiverMay 19, 20161 min read

AC Fly Fishing Reports on 5.18.2016

It’s no secret that the Lower Sac is one of the finest trout fisheries in the country. Day in and day out, she continues to give us tremendous fishing. From downtown Redding to Cottonwood, the river has fished exceptionally well this Spring. Don’t expect too much to change in the coming weeks. The PMD hatches have been driving the fishing most days. The river is currently sitting at 6,500cfs. Evening Caddis hatches in the early summer months produce some stellar fishing and present some fun chances to throw the dry fly as well.

My next open days are: June 1-2
