Trout fishing on the Lower Sac remains solid. These drizzly, dark days usually get the baetis hatching and can create some great windows.. some days may even give you the opportunity to throw the dry fly.
Again, this is the time of the year when we see some of the biggest fish in the river show themselves. Winter can produce some true specimens. Bring your A game, as little bugs and light tippet ain’t always the easiest to hold these big trout.
