he Lower Sac has been a great summer option. The fish certainly aren’t chowing from sunup to sundown but there have been a few windows throughout the day where it’s been “ON”.

The quality of the fish right now is as good as you will probably ever see. We’re hooking a lot of 18"-20" trout that probably weight 3-4lbs.. We’ve seen the backing fly off the reel almost every day out on the Sac recently. To avoid the heat of the day the late afternoon/evening has been our preferred window out there. There have been a few dry fly opportunities at last light if you have the patience for it.
