Lower Sacramento River Striper Fishing - I have been guiding stripers
over the last week on the Lower Sacramento. Fishing has been fair to
good. There are good numbers of schoolie size fish on the grab and we
have seen some nicer fish in the 8-12lb range each day with a few
MONSTERS chasing flies or following a hooked fish to the book. Fishing
should remain good through October as long as the weather cooperates.
That said the days have really started to cool down and the evenings are
definitely getting cooler. This will began to slow the bite and as
fronts move in and out the fishing can get less consistent.
