Lower Sac Fly Fishing Report
Hogan Brown Reports on 2.10.2016
Fishing has been fair to good. with the warmer weather
fishing are eating more constantly throughout the day. There has been a
few caddis hatching on warmer days and signs of PMD’s and March Browns
on the warmest of days. Weather forecast is clear and warm in the mid
70’s through the weekend but there is a cool down and some rain possible
next week so that will change things I am sure. Most fish are coming on
flies that correspond to the bugs that are around at any given
time…Flashback PT’s when the mayflies around and fox poopas seem to be
the best when the caddis are around. Other flies that have been
catching fish are varieties of rubber legs and general attractor flies. I
have not been below Anderson but will most likely fish Anderson to
Balls in the next few days as cow creek should be clear and the river
should be fine down to atleast cotton wood creek.
