A wad of fish showed up on the Iron Gate stretches and fishing has been really good. We got whooped by many bright hens but landed some nice bucks and half-pounders. We are not sure how long it will last, or if more fresh fish are on the way, but we had a ball out there and are very excited about our upcoming trips. Throughout this winter when most rivers tend to blow the Klamath can remain a strong option for quality steelheading.
