Klamath and Rogue River Fishing Report

Klamath RiverOct 14, 20161 min read

Brandon Worthington Reports on 10.13.2016

Fall fishing on the Rogue continues to be what I am used to. Some days are better then others, but each day sees opportunities! It’s steelhead fishing, and you don’t go because you catch 50 in a day…it’s about the quality. The klamath to is fishing very well, with both skated dries and tips swinging them up. My first day here this season was Monday with 4 hook ups, one on the skater!

On another note, our first big weather system has moved in today. It’s going to raise the river a bit, shuffle the deck and pull a fresh batch of fish into both the klamath and Rogue! I move down to the klamath the middle of next week for the remainder of October. November is prime time on the klamath and I still have some limited availability for the month if you would like to join for a day of fishing for some of the grabbiest steelhead on the planet.
