Hat Creek Fly Fishing Report

Hat CreekJul 24, 20141 min read

John Fochetti from Clearwater Lodge Reports

Hat Creek - The Spinner fall in the morning is still going on and fish are chowing them in the faster water, size 22 Tricos fished with a classic upstream presentation will fool them. After 10am the game is nymphing with most fish being fooled by small mayfly patterns, try size 16-18 pheasant tails, micro mayflies, Hogan’s S&M nymphs or Zebra Midges.
