Hat Creek Fly Fishing Report

Hat CreekMay 25, 20171 min read

5/25/2017

Hat Creek has been fishing pretty well. The Salmonflies have started coming off down by the barrier where the creek goes into Lake Britton. BWO, Caddis and Drakes can all be spotted on any given day out there as well. If you are looking for a refuge from high flows Hat Creek might be your bet.

This is a great time to fish large dries below 299 bridge to the lake.

Hat creek is not any easy fishery good presentation is key as this creek has clear water and get’s a lot of pressure.

Fishing has been good throughout the day but evenings have been the best.
