Hat Creek and Baum Lake are experiencing a fantastic trico spinnerfall in the mornings. Fishing tiny dry flies to selective wild trout… what’s better than that in August? Baum Lake would be a great place to take a beginner or teach kids new to fly fishing. Lots of eager stockers and a few wild trout are plentiful here. A boat with oars and an anchor opens up a lot more water and a chance to escape the crowds.
