Fishing is really good for 2 to 5 lb schoolie Stripers. Fish shallow in depths of 2 to 5 foot with your intermediate type three line. Fish deep with your T-14 fast sinking line in 8 to 15 feet. Make sure you have fast strip to entice a strike. Also its helpful to vary your strip with long and short strips. Fish are very aggressive as the water temperatures are in the mid 60-degree range.
