Fishing can be good if you can find the fish. The fish are still very active and are eating a large fly with no problem. The water temps are between 48 and 50 degrees. I love coldwater fishing because it’s time to use all your gear. Dress up warm with multi layers of wool and you can top it off with insulated outer wear. Don’t forget your warm gloves to keep your hands working. Please remember yourYeti thermos filled with your favorite hot beverage. Keeping your head warm is paramount. A wool beanie and your favorite winter buff works best. Once your comfortable you can concentrate on your fishing. Get out and enjoy your Delta winter fishing.
