Dan LeCount is a guide out of Truckee, Ca. with the Truckee River Outfitters. He guides a wide range of water from freestones, to tailwaters, to spring creeks to reservoirs, all depending on the conditions. Dan is a 4th generation fly fisherman and has been working in the industry for over 15 years. He worked for the old Reno Fly Shop for over 10 years and in 2011 helped Andy Burk open the West River Fly Shop. At West River, they tied a majority of the flies in-house. Known for his highly creative patterns, Dan is a contract fly designer for Umpqua Feather Merchants. Dan also builds custom fly rods and loves swinging for steel with his spey rod during the winter months.
Dan will be in tying flies before the presentation at the shop. Come and join us for this great presentation!
