Copper River Lodge, Alaska

The Copper River Lodge is the only lodge located directly on the Copper River.  This means you will never miss a minute of fishing!  Our guests have found the Copper River Lodge experience to be a true ‘10’ in fishing, lodge experience, and Alaskan beauty.  The Copper River is  a fly fishing only river.  It is easily waded and crossed.  Guests can spread out and fish every inch of the river.   The river has some of the best dry fly fishing in Alaska the months of June and July.  Plus a great run of Sockeye Salmon the month of July.  The lodge also has a lake boat to access other tributaries that flow into Lake Iliamna.  Another favorite river to fish is the Gibraltor river, that is easily reached in about 40 minutes.  You can also fly out to the upper Copper River and raft down to the lodge.  

The Copper River Lodge only takes 6 guests a week!  Anglers stay in private cabins with bath and shower, and your own deck looking over the river.  The lodge is also new as of 2014 with a great deck to have a drink, and watch the sunset.  You can walk right down to the river from our lodge and be fishing.

2016 Rates: $5400 per person and includes:

•    Float Plane Transportation Between Iliamna and the Lodge
•    Leaders/tippet
•    Flies
•    Local and State Taxes
•    All lodging, and meals throughout the week, 6 nights, 7 days.
•    7 days of guided fishing (change out days are not full days)

Location:   Guests fly into Iliamna from Anchorage.  Upon arrival in Iliamna we will fly you in a dehavilland beaver float plane to the mouth of the Copper 20 minutes away.
