Central Valley Fly Fishing Report

Feather RiverOct 25, 20181 min read

Capt. Chuck Ragan reports on 10.25.18

It’s a great time of year to be on the water. Steelhead fishing in the Feather and Yuba River has been productive. Dry fly fishing in the Yuba as well has been giving a good amount of shots just as swinging steamers in deeper runs and foothill fall bass is starting to get exciting.

If trout, bass or steelhead aren’t what you’re looking for, there are fewer numbers than summer fishing but a good chance at some extremely solid striped bass on the fly in our Northern California and Central Valley Rivers.

If you’re on the books, you’re in for a treat and we’ll see you soon.  If not don’t hesitate to strike while the iron’s hot.  CR
