Captain Bryce Tedford Reports on December 1st, 2025
Body of Water: California Delta
Rating : Fair to Good
Flows : Not Applicable
Water Temps : 52-58 degrees
Water clarity : clear to a bit off color depending on the area but good overall. 2-4’ of visibility
Fishing report : The water is beginning to cool down & winter striper fishing is setting in. The name of the game is finding the fish & getting them to bite when they are feeding. Hard to beat 3/0 Steve Adachi Rattle Clousers in Surf Brown, Joker or Classic Chartreuse. Had the pleasure of fishing with Steve Adachi last week & he did not disappoint, managing to hook a striper on his first cast! Great to get on the water with the man, the myth, the legend!
Guide Tip : Winter striper fishing is all about finding fish & getting them to bite. Move around a lot, slow down your strips & pause a few seconds between strips.
