Lower Sacramento River
It’s
been a fantastic summer on the mighty “Lower Sac”. Our wild rainbow
trout are in extremely good shape heading into the Fall and i’m sure
they’re anticipating the Egg drop just as much as I am. Peak season is
upon us, be sure not to miss it.
What’s on Tap?
If you haven’t booked your Fall fishing trip yet,
it’s not too late. As many of my days are already booked, I take great
pride in working with the best network of independent guides around. We still have plenty of guide dates available for the Fall season.
- October: EGG BITE on the Lower Sac. Many folks consider this “prime time” for our big trout gorging on Salmon eggs. Steelhead are available in the Lower River as well.
- November: Lower Sac egg drop is still happening. Klamath and Trinity Steelhead
- December: Big trout time on the Lower Sac, Klamath and Trinity River Steelhead. We typically see the bigger fish of the season in December.
