Cory Godell, Deschutes River Anglers

Rain finally hit the Sandy which brought new and fresh fish with it. The river level jumped from 900 cfs to over 6500 on Sunday. It has already dropped back down to 2780 cfs. But, if you believe the weatherman, there’s a good chance of more rain in the forecast for the end of this week and early next week. The rain should stabilize or even raise the river a bit and bring in even more shiny steel into the river.
If anyone needs to steady their shakes, we do have a couple openings the middle of next week.

If you want to catch some amazing rainbow trout on big dry flies call us soon, our calendars are filling up quick. We are less than two months away from the start of the Salmon Fly Hatch.
See you on the river!
