Yuba River Fly Fishing Report

Lower Yuba RiverSep 25, 20141 min read

Dave Barbieri, Dave Barbieri Guide Service

Fishing was very good on the Yuba River this week. Trout are taking eggs,  caddis, and stoneflies. We’ve also been getting some trout on dry flies, especially in the evening!

The Yuba was thick with smoke from the King Fire this morning, but a nice breeze came in around noon and quickly cleared it out. Flows are at 670 cfs. and water temps are great. Fishing has been consistent all day.

Between the Yuba and Feather Rivers, my October and November dates are filling up fast. Please contact the shop and ask for Dave Barbieri if you would like to get out on the water with me for prime time steelhead and trout fishing!
