Trinity River Flow Report

Trinity RiverJan 12, 20171 min read

1.12.17

The Trinity is coming back down after the most recent deluge. The way upper river, in Lewiston is in good shape at 313cfs and downstream, as the above graphs show, flows are very high but calming down. The Trinity usually drops into fishable shape quicker than any other major steelhead system so when it does, be ready to call out sick.

Fish will be scattered throughout the system, with Fall fish meandering around the upper end and hopefully some fresher, wintery steel showing up below the North Fork at the head of the canyon and the South Fork down further.
