Steep walls, jagged rocks, slick boulders, and an unforgiving river bottom - these are all significant traits of many of the American west’s great canyon fisheries. There are no long drives down sketchy backgrounds, or even an obscene amount of hiking - but many points to descend into one of these canyon fisheries are downright intimidating.
