Lower Sacramento River Shad fishing is getting going. Heard from my buddy Captain Darrin Deel that there were shad down around Colusa which means I am sure you can get out around Chico and catch a few fish. With the warm weather coming in this week I am sure the fish will be through Chico by next week making for some good fishing and the start of shad season.
