Lake Davis Fly Fishing Report

I have not been up on the lake in the last week, presentations to fly clubs across the state, and the Simms Pro Delta day has been keeping me very busy. My antennas have informed that the bite is slowly getting better, and more fish are in the shallows. Finding active pods of feeding fish is far more important right now than which fly you use, or which technique you choose to present your offering. You can’t go wrong using a brown, black, or burnt orange wiggle tail. I’m heading up for another round of trips, and I will have a much more detailed report for next week. Good luck out there!
