Capt. Bryce Tedford reports on 8.9.18

Topwater Smallmouth has been primary focus this week. Stripers are available if you are willing to work for them but they can be hit & miss this time of year. In addition to the Smallmouth & Stripers,

Topwater Largemouth can be good the first few hrs of morning or last few hours of day. Hard to beat large size 2 Topwater frogs for the Largemouth, small size 6-8 poppers for Smallmouth & size 1/0-2/0 Clouser minnows for Stripers. Water temperatures are 72 degrees, August/September my focus is on Topwater Smallmouth/Largemouth, returning to Stripers come fall unless someone really wants to hunt/Target Stripers in the Summer months.
